A Profile in Courage

“In 1980, I responded to a call that would change my life and the lives of so many others in a profound way. This new call came from Terence Cardinal Cooke, then the Archbishop of New York.”

The following video A Profile in Courage is shared here with the permission of Courage International, Inc.

Fr. Harvey is best known for founding the Courage apostolate and directing it for the first 28 years of its existence. A Profile in Courage tells the story of how Father came to establish this important Catholic ministry which continues to flourish and grow today. Courage provides spiritual support and sacramental community for men and women who experience same-sex attractions and who desire to develop a life of interior chastity in union with Christ.
